Dear Mr Pires: My oldest brother came across your site the other day and
sent
it to me. I want to thank you for the Memoirs of the Bennington, May 26,
1954. I never really knew what happened that day other than the fact that my
dad died.
I was only 10 at the time. I can't begin to tell you of the effect reading
your account has had on me, it brought that time back as I hadn't expected
it
to.
